NASI UDUK - JAVA
“Nasi uduk” is one of processed rice
and coconut milk that has the hallmark of savory saltiness.
“Nasi uduk” usually served to commemorate a birthday or celebration usual. How to make “nasi
uduk” is very
easy. Here is recipe to make “nasi uduk”:
1. 1/2 kilo of rice
2. 700 ml coconut milk from coconuts 1/2
3. 3 stalks lemongrass crushed
4. 2 bay leaves
5. 2 three-fourths teaspoon salt
How to make :
1. Rinse the rice then drain.
2. Boil the coconut milk, along with lemongrass and bay leaves to boiling.
3. Add rice, and stir until absorbed.
4. Add salt and stir.
5. Steam the rice until cooked.
6. "Nasi uduk" ready to be served. "Nasi uduk" will taste more delicious when served with complementary dishes such as omelet, "tempe kering", fried chicken and crackers. That's the way, so easy. Happy cooking and take a delicious taste of "Nasi Uduk " :)
