Kolak is a favorite food that made when fasting. The sweet taste of kolak made this dish an option at most mothers when make food for fasting. Here's how to make the kolak :
Material :
- 5 Kepok banana
- 100 gr yellow yam
- 100 gr white yam
- 150 ml coconut milk
- 1 liter of water
- Sugar
- Brown sugar
- 2 screwpine leaf
- Salt
- Sugar palm fruit
- Peel bananas, yellow yam and white yam. Rinse yellow yam and white yam then cut into cubes.
- Boil water in a pan. Wait until the water is boiling and then put in brown sugar, sugar, yellow yam and white yam. Wait until the water educate then stir slowly and pour the milk. Stir slowly so milk is not broken
- Put in bananas, sugar palm fruit (ind : kolang kaling) and salt. Wait until boiling then lift the pan. Kolak is ready to serve.
