RAWON, EAST JAVA
          Rawon is a traditional food from East Java. Rawon taste lies in the combination of spices and herbs are used to make rawon. Here's how to make rawon : 
Ingredients :
  • 1 kg of beef
  • 500 grams of cow bone
  • 2 l of water
  • Cooking oil
Seasoning :
  • Galangal
  • Ginger
  • Lemon grass
  • Lime
  • 3 lime leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind
  • seasoning mashed
  • 11 keluwak
  • 15 onion
  • 7 garlic
  • Coriander
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Shrimp paste
Supplementary :
  • Sprout
  • Salted egg,
  • Fried onion
  • Cucumber
  • Crackers
  • Shrimp chili paste
 How to make :
  1. Prepare the water in a pan and boiled bones and beef until cooked and tender.
  2. Cut the beef cubes.
  3. Rinse and spices and puree.
  4. Stir-fry until fragrant spices and then enter it into the pan of stew.
  5. Crushed and put in galangal, lemon grass, ginger. Put in also sliced lime, lime leaves, tamarind water and sugar. Stir well.
  6. Cover the pan, let it flesh and bone tender and the flavors mingle perfectly.
  7. Lift the pan after meat cookedl. Rawon is ready to be served.
Serving suggestions : 
        Pour rawon into a bowl and add the sprouts, fried onions, shrimp chili paste,cucumber  that has been cut into small pieces and crackers.
